It is a tall 6" zesty lemon and as  you can probably tell, Kay loves to travel and Marks and Spencer!

Eoghan - Liverpool 21st Birthday Cake

Eoghan's mam is a legend so I am quite sure Eoghan is too. He certainly looks in the photos his ma sent me. He loves a pint of Guinness whilst watching his favourite team play. The cake is an 8" zesty lemon and everything is edible and handmade.

Odhran - Elephant Christening Cake

Doreen celebrated her 60th birthday this weekend and Martina ordered this 8" zesty lemon cake to help her celebrate. Doreen loves sewing, knitting, the odd glass of wine and Woman's Way magazine. Everything is handmade and edible.

Amy & Derek - Roses and Lace wedding cake

Amy and Derek tied the knot yesterday and celebrated with friends and family in the gorgeous Johnstown Hosue Estate in Meath. The cake is made up of 10" and 8" lemon tiers and a 6" vanilla tier. Al the roses are made from sugar and I love the romanticism of this cake.

Coen - Cookie Monster Birthday Cake

Coen turned one yesterday and his mam ordered this 8" lemon cake to celebrate. Love that Cookie Monster is still a thing.

Ann - Sewing Birthday Cake

Ann loves to sew and, with this in mind, myself and Orla (her daughter who ordered the cake) came up with. The cake is a 6" high 7" zesty lemon cake. Everything is edible except for the upright pin in the pincushion and the pin holding the name tag. . Fun, huh?

Catriona & Patrick - Blush Rose Wedding Cake

Congratulations to the lovely Catriona and Patrick who were married last weekend. Don't they look gorgeous? They held their reception in the utterly gorgeous Castle Durrow (thank you Duggie for your help and advice) The cake consists of a 10" chocolate biscuit tier, an 8" lemon tier and a 6" ginger, date and lemon tier. The roses were made by the wonderful Susan Barry ... she works with Bernie and is an absolute legend. Special mention to Betty who provided lots of advice and recipes for the lemon cake.

Liam Fergus - Dr.Seuss Christening Cake

Eimear ordered this 8" x 5" high zesty lemon cake for Liam Fergus's christening day. One of my favourites. Love how bright and colourful it is (also a huge Dr Seuss fan and I've been wanting to make one of these for ages).

Tess - 2nd Birthday Ballet Birthday Cake

Niamh, Tess's mam, liked two separate cakes so we took elements from both and turned it into one cake! The 8" tier is zesty lemon and the 6" is red velvet Everything is edible and handmade. When the party was over I covered a dummy cake so Niamh (or Tess) could keep the shoes for display.
