This is an  8" raspberry whirl cake that was made to celebrate Turien's first birthday.   It's based on a birthday cake I made a few years back.

Kate - Ruffles 1st Birthday Cake

Kate ordered 6" chocolate fudge cake for her son's 1st Birthday. The cake is layered in a delicious vanilla buttercream and getting that colour right nearly broke me lol.

Oisin - First Birthday Cake

I love this story and was thrilled when Jean asked me to make something along this theme for Paddy's first birthday. The cake is an 8" chocolate fudge and everything is handmade/hand painted and edible.

Rosie - First Birthday Cake

Rosie celebrated her first birthday last weekend and we were delighted to make her birthday cake. So excited in fact that Bernie made a purple version too lol. This is an 8" vanilla cake with pink ombre buttercream swirls. The inside is made up of pink layers (as you can see from the photo Grainne sent us. She also sent us a dotey one of Rosie enjoying herself, yay Rosie). Everything is edible except the topper.

I love when Eva mails and asks me to make a cake. I get such great, colourful themes. This was made to celebrate Samuel's first birthday. It is an 8" raspberry and vanilla and entirely edible.

Coen - Cookie Monster Birthday Cake

Coen turned one yesterday and his mam ordered this 8" lemon cake to celebrate. Love that Cookie Monster is still a thing.

Ríona - First Birthday Cake

I made Ríona's Christening Cake a while back and was delighted to make her first birthday cake. 

The first elephant is the one I originally had on the cake but the humidity over the past few days stopped him setting properly.  Which meant he broke (argh).  The second elephant (which I think I prefer) took a quarter of the time to make.  Nothing like time pressure to make you move, eh?

The cake is an 8" zesty lemon and everything is edible. 

Alice - Alice in Wonderland First Birthday Cake

We made Alice's Christening cake and I was delighted to make her first birthday cake. What else could you make for a girl named Alice other than her very own little wonderland. The cake is an 8" strawberry swirl and everything is edible (except the white rabbits glasses!)
