Appa - Photo Birthday Cake

Rahki ordered this 6" vanilla cake for her husbands birthday last weekend. It's his first birthday since they had their baby so she thought this would be a great surprise. I think so too.

Alicia - 40th Birthday 80's cake!!

So Alicia sits down in my kitchen (cos she's my mate) and says she would like a cake for her birthday. I asked her if she had any idea and she said 'er, a cake'. I told her she was a bad client and to go away and have a think. So she did. The 80s. She loved that 'zany' pattern that is on the front of the cake (hello fancy paper), that freaky arse clown doll, monchichi's, rainbow brite and the care bears. All of which made it onto the cake. Including that terrifying clown doll. I was given three of those feckers as a kid. I hate clowns and dolls and ... yeah, cheers for that. The cake is an 8" chocolate fudge atop a 10 dummy tier.

Conor - Roscommon 40th Birthday Cake

Darryl ordered this for Conor's 40th birthday party last Friday. He loves Roscommon and dreams of them winning the Sam Maguire. (Cackle, he can dream). The cake is an 8" vanilla and raspberry and everything is edible and handmade.

John - 40th Birthday Cake

Anne told me that John loved computers coffee, the Dublin team and rollercoasters! So, of course, we incorporated all of these elements. Everything is edible and handmade. The cake is an 8" chocolate fudge.

Brian Thomas - Open Top Tour Bus Cake

This is a carved 10" vanilla cake and was made to celebrate Brian Thomas's birthday. He is a huge fan of these buses. He is also the baby brother of one of my best friends. That wee man driving the bus is Brian's nephew! 

Another one of Bernie's magical cakes. All I had to do was make Brian Thomas and stick bits on.

Margaret - 40th Birthday Cake

Myself and Kathryn had been emailing back and forth for a while before it clicked with both of us that Margaret is my lovely neighbour.  This gorgeous lady is the mother of four, married to a handsome chap from Bath, she herself hails from Mayo.  She teaches and loves the odd glass of wine!!

Peter - 40th birthday cake

Peter picks up quite a few cakes throughout the year from us. This one was collected, on his behalf, for his 40th birthday. 

The cake is a double height zesty lemon, and is adorned with some of the things Peter loves. Snowboarding, shooting and Neil Diamond!!

Garry - Boxing Cake

This is a 9" chocolate biscuit cake made to celebrate Garry's 40th birthday. I really enjoyed making this but . . . her boobs definitely looked smaller when she was lying down.
