She sent through a couple of images for inspiration and this is what I came up with and I love how vibrant it looks.

This is a 10" Raspberry Whirl and everything is handpainted and edible.

This is an 11" x 7" chocolate biscuit cake, ordered by Bryan, for Esther's 40th birthday celebrations. The shoe was made by Karen Geraghty of Bake Cake Create (legendary sugar shoemaker) and is entirely edible.

Alicia - 40th Birthday 80's cake!!

So Alicia sits down in my kitchen (cos she's my mate) and says she would like a cake for her birthday. I asked her if she had any idea and she said 'er, a cake'. I told her she was a bad client and to go away and have a think. So she did. The 80s. She loved that 'zany' pattern that is on the front of the cake (hello fancy paper), that freaky arse clown doll, monchichi's, rainbow brite and the care bears. All of which made it onto the cake. Including that terrifying clown doll. I was given three of those feckers as a kid. I hate clowns and dolls and ... yeah, cheers for that. The cake is an 8" chocolate fudge atop a 10 dummy tier.
