Lucy - Christening Cake

Love the simplicity of this design. Maeve ordered it for her daughter's christening day. The cake is a 10" zesty lemon and everything is handmade and edible.

Fiona - Christening Cake

Roughly this time last year I delivered a cupcake to Deidre. The buttercream on top was white but ... the buttercream inside? Well, that was pink. I was thrilled to be able to pass on that news to the grandmother to be. Well, Fiona was born and I was delighted to make her christening cake. Deidre, the nana, ordered an 8" carrot cake and the design was based on one we made previously.

Conor - Christening Cake

This is an 8" raspberry and vanilla cake and was made to celebrate Conor's Christening Day.
Everything is edible and handmade

Ava - Christening Cake

The brief was a dog and baby who adore each other and get into all sorts of trouble. So, a baby and dog up to no good!
The cake is an 8" banana cake and everything is edible.

Matthew - Christening Cake

Matthew's mum rang me in a bit of a panic, had forgotten to order cake.  I was only too happy to help her out.  This is an 8" chocolate biscuit cake.  I decided to put Matthew on his Goose playmat (thing) and have his favourite bunny blanket too.  Everything is edible and handmade.

Louis - Christening Cake

Based on his favourite toy, this is an 8" Raspberry and vanilla cake. All handmade and edible and ... it reminds me of my baby's monkey (our monkey has no ears or tail and the baby is now 11!)

Sophia - Christening Cake

"As soon as I saw you I knew an adventure was going to happen" - Winnie the Pooh
This was made to celebrate the christening of Sophia, daughter to two of my favourite people. Everything is edible (and Tiramisu flavoured). Actually, I lie, the top book is made to be kept. That has Sophie, Pooh Bear and (my favourite) a desolate looking Eeyore on it.

Niamh sent me photos of the books she loves to read with Sophie and we decided to make as many as we could. To give you some idea of scale, the board the cakes sit on is 45cm square.

p.s. tonnes of photos as so much to see.

Perfect for a little girl. I do love this cake. The cake itself is a 10" vanilla cake with handmade, edible, roses and gift tag.

Alice in Wonderland Cupcakes

Loved making these. 36 decorated cupcakes in three flavours (chocolate,, vanilla and white chocolate and raspberry) decorated to an Alice in Wonderland theme.
