Croíadh - Christening Cake

This is an 8" chocolate fudge cake and was made for Lisa and Shane's gorgeous daughter Croíadh (pronounced Cree-a and meaning 'from the heart, awww). We were only to delighted to take this on as we had made their wedding cakes a few summers back. I decided to make a duplicate cake topper for them to have as a memento of the day. p.s. the cake stand is made from an Ikea plate and candle stick lol #ikeahack

Conor - Teddy and baby christening cake

Conor's big brothers decided what should be on the top of this cake and I think they chose very well.   One of my favourites as so bright and colourful.  The cake is a 10" Raspberry and Vanilla cake.

Alice in Wonderland Christening Cake

Firstly, this is not our original design but our take on another cake makers work. I loved every minute of this. Even the many hours of rose practice it took to get those three in the tea cup. Everything you see in these photos is edible.

The cakes are made up of an 8" chocolate biscuit cake, 6" zesty lemon cake and a dummy 4" tier for Justyne to keep as a memento of the day.
Yup, loved making this. Also, extremely chuffed I'm not the one trying to get that dummy tier home. The tension is the car on delivery was er, obvious.
