Des - Galaxy Birthday Cake

Ena ordered this 8" Tiramisu cake for her dad's 80th birthday. You wouldn't believe how many tutorials I watched to learn how to get this effect on the cake but it was quite a few hours worth. Everything is handmade from sugar and Uranus does have a white spot on it! This was inspired by a wonderful cake made by Serdar Yenner.

Shane and Melissa - Succulent Wedding Cake

Melissa and Shane got married today and this is the cake we made for them. 

It is made up of a 10” chocolate biscuit tier, 8” vanilla tier and a 6” fruit cake.   The succulents are handmade from sugarpaste and I must ask where they bought the topper as it is so sweet. 

As ever, Ballymagarvey Village was looking beautiful and fantastic to deal with.

Roger - James Bond Birthday Cake

My lovely cousin has his, cough, big birthday tomorrow.  This is his cake.   It's made up of a tall 8" vanilla and strawberry tier and an equally tall 6" chocolate fudge tier. 

Everything is handmade and edible and I thoroughly enjoyed making it and am very much looking forward to the party and having a slice. 

Sadie - Beanie Boo / Maya - Peter Rabbit and Arty - Roblox Birthday cake

I love the idea behind this cake.   Sadie and her two pals are having their party this week and myself and Amy, her mam, decided to make one cake into three so they all had a cake ... if you know what I mean.   

The cake is an 8" chocolate fudge and each child has their favourite character on their third.

Kevin - Gets a Kevin Minion birthday cake

I do love minions.  Martha ordered this for her husband's 60th birthday.   It's 6" wide and 8" tall (funny fact, cake makers always seem to talk 'imperial' when it comes to cake sizes?!) and like the hooman Kevin he loves tennis and the Holy Grail.  Everything is edible and handmade.  

Jack - Emoji Birthday Cake

Jack, like a lot of kids, loves the poop emoji so ... poop emoji birthday cake! The cake is an 8" chocolate with a vanilla buttercream filling.

Spinosaurus - Dinosaur Birthday Cake for Matthew

Last year Matthew was all about Spiderman.  This year it's dinosaurs.   His mam asked for a Spinosaurus and .... he was a hard Dino to make.  I do, however, love how he looks like he's leaping out of the cake.

The cake is an 8" zesty lemon and everything is edible and handmade. 

Danny - 18th Birthday Cake

My gorgeous friend, Trish, asked me to make this cake for her son's 18th birthday. I was only too happy to oblige. I love the bones of that woman. Danny is a huge Blondie fan ( that picture was painted by one of his best mates .. who happens to be Bernie's niece, such a small world) and adores his dog. He loves a tonne of things really but these are the two we went with.  Oh, and the cake is an 8" chocolate fudge!
