Just Eat - Burger Cakes

Just Eat sent these out to some of their favourite food bloggers and influencers in the run up to Taste of Dublin.

There were ten in total and I got such a kick seeing them show up on social media with their recipients.

The burger is an 8" rice crispie cake, the bun is an 8" vanilla cake and everything else is sugarpaste. Everything you see is edible.

Ulysses - First Edition Celebration Cake

Today celebrates 100 years since James Joyce's Ulysses was published. @songsofjoyce asked that I make a cake for their celebrations today. Based on that original first edition, mine is entirely edible.

This is a vanilla and raspberry cake and is true to size.

Allergan - Celebration Cake

An unusual request to celebrate some awesome people. Ordered by Frances for the team to celebrate the completion of Carafate Value Steam Mapping project. This is a 10" chocolate biscuit cake and definitely too big a pill to swallow whole.

Ciarán - Dublin GAA jersey Retirement Cake

Mo ordered this 10" chocolate biscuit cake for Ciarán's recent retirement from Hayes Solicitors. He is a huge fan and it was only fitting that he got his own jersey. Everything is edible and handmade.

.Call of Duty Modern Warfare Launch 2019

I know what I'm good at and I know who to call when I feel I won't be good enough.
Enter Maria McDonald of Sugar Duckie Cake Designs. We were asked to make cupcakes and something sculptural for the 2019 launch of Call of Duty, "along the lines of what you did last year".
Last year I could do... this year I knew that Maria would make something phenomenal if asked. So I asked her! She made this fabulous bust of Captain Price. He is edible as he is made of rice crispie treats and modelling chocolate but I imagine he will live out his days in Ruth's office.
I love working with clients who trust me and love working with other cake makers, especially when they are as talented as my mate.

Activision - 40th Birthday Cake

Ruth, Demonware, asked that we make a cake for Activision's 40th-anniversary celebrations on Thursday.
She sent through a couple of images for inspiration and this is what I came up with and I love how vibrant it looks.
This is a 10" Raspberry Whirl and everything is handpainted and edible.
