Sinead - High Heel Shoe cake topper.

A genuine size 5 sugar paste shoe.

Bernie's cousin has a big birthday today, she's off partying this weekend, and she asked me to make her a shoe to go with the lovely cake she's made.
I don't have a photo of the cake yet but here's my contribution to Sinead's birthday party.

Velvet Crush

I normally make shoes that are 2D images painted to look like their 3D counterparts.  This is my first ever shoe that you could wear.  I love it.
The 'box' is a 10 x 8" chocolate fudge cake.  The shoe is entirely edible and is made from Florist Paste (icing for making flowers).

Shoes for Nikki

This is a two tiered cake made from a 12" chocolate biscuit cake. There is approx enough cake here to feed 200 people. Everything is edible including the shoe!

New Shoes - this time for Claire

These were made for a friend of the Balbriggan Perfectionist.  Mo made a 10" chocolate biscuit cake and I made Claire's favourite shoes (of the moment).  The shoes are made from gelatine icing and have been decorated with edible gold leaf and sparkles.  Everything you see is edible except the ribbon holding the tag.

Shoes - The Suzy

A friend said that shoes are fast becoming my signature thing.  Here's another pair.  This was interesting as the shoes terrified me, started laughing when I got the photos off the client.  These were done as a 3D plaque as the idea is for you to keep them as a momento of your birthday party.  The cake is chocolate biscuit and is smaller than our usual shoebox cakes as it was only for 15 people.  The shoes are gelatine icing and the box, 'paper' and tags are all  made from fondant.
