New Shoes - this time for Claire

These were made for a friend of the Balbriggan Perfectionist.  Mo made a 10" chocolate biscuit cake and I made Claire's favourite shoes (of the moment).  The shoes are made from gelatine icing and have been decorated with edible gold leaf and sparkles.  Everything you see is edible except the ribbon holding the tag.

Smithwicks Beer Can Birthday Cake

12" chocolate biscuit cake that went up rather than out.  It is covered in two layers of fondant and hand decorated to resemble the beer of choice, Smithwicks.  The birthday girl was made by Mandy of The Little Design Company who works with us when we need her skills.  There was nothing and I do mean NOTHING, left of his cake the next day.  Always good to hear.  Actually, I've attached the photo I received the next day from the lovely lady who ordered the cake.
