Kelly's Snow Cake

Initially we were asked for a chocolate fudge cake with chocolate covered strawberries.  Unfortunately, due to the bad snow (10 days of it) we couldn't get nice strawberries for love nor money so we changed the design.  It went down a treat.  Thankfully.
The cake is a 10" Chocolate fudge cake, tripled layered with fudge frosting before being covered first with a chocolate ganache and then fondant.  The snowflakes are handmade and are every bit as delicate as the real thing.
