Ronan's work colleagues wanted to organise a cake for his birthday recently so Ellie got on the job and rang us. The brief was his beloved boat and a pirate figure.

Noah - First Birthday Cake

Maria ordered this 8" chocolate fudge cake for her son's first birthday. The drawings on the side were inspired by a baby blanket my kids had when they were small. Everything is edible and handmade.

Gramps! - 80th Birthday Cake / Sailing Birthday Cake

Paula ordered this 8" vanilla cake for her father's recent 80th birthday celebrations. Everything is edible and handmade.

Fergus - 70th birthday cake.

I love the story behind this cake. When Fergus was a child his brother won a donkey (as you do) so the two of them set off in a row boat to collect it. From Donabate!! They brought it back home, sat between them in the boat. Pure Boys book of adventures stuff. Now Fergus is living a slightly more sedate life. He loves hanging out with his family and the occasional giant cookie.

Adrienne - Golf lovin', guitar playin' fisherman Dad's birthday

Obviously, this isn't Adrienne, she's a 6 foot blonde goddess. This is her gorgeous dad. He celebrated his birthday recently and we were delighted to make his cake. Everything is edible and handmade.

Cathal - Sailing 40th Birthday Cake

Pauline ordered this 8" chocolate biscuit cake for her husband's 40th birthday. The number on the sail matches his boat. I'd love a boat lol. Everything is edible and handmade.

Michelle - Anniversary Cake

Michelle ordered this 8" zesty lemon cake for her parents recent anniversary. The cake is based around the story of how they met. He was fishing and she caught his eye and he was hooked!

Jim - Bon Voyage Cake

This is a 10" chocolate biscuit cake and was made for Jim who is leaving Bewleys this week. He's off to pastures new and loves sailing so I loved the idea of him in his boat, with a sack of coffee beans, trousers rolled up and work shirt blowing in the breeze. So did the staff in Bewleys! Phew.
