Val - 80th Birthday Cake

 Amanda ordered this tall 6" zesty lemon cake for Val's 80th birthday.

Including a model of himself and some of the many things he loves, everything is handmade and edible. 

Gwyneth - 80th Birthday Cake

I so enjoyed making this cake. Made for one of my favourite customers too. This is an 8" vanilla and raspberry cake and was made to celebrate Gwyneth's birthday. The model is wearing the dress Gwyneth is wearing to her party this evening. Yeah, this one made me smile. The cake is handpainted and entirely edible.

Ger - 80th Birthday Panama Hat Cake

I do love this cake. I love cakes that look like 'things', if you know what I mean. This is an 8" carved chocolate fudge cake in the style of Ger's favourite hat. Entirely edible.

Marie - 80th Birthday Cake

Marie loves to paint landscapes and Ronan provided me with two beautiful ones. I chose my favourite for Marie to be painting on this cake. The cake is an 8" chocolate biscuit cake and handpainted. Originally I had thought I would reproduce Marie's painting on the cake surface but quickly realised I can't paint!!! Everything is handmade and edible.

Jimmie - 80th Birthday Cake

Jimmie turned 80 this week and it was a pleasure to make this cake for him. He has his favourite armchair, newspapers to read, golf clubs at the ready and a suitcase for fleeing should he feel the need. Everything is edible and handmade.

Sailing boat 80th birthday cake

This was made to celebrate an 80th birthday recently. The cake is a carved 8" zesty lemon and is based on one of the many small sailing boats that can be found in Malahide. Everything is handmade and edible and this is entirely Bernie!
