, Jasmin - Aladdin Birthday Cake

Jacinta, Jasmin's mam, sent me a couple of images of cushion style birthday cakes and asked that we make something to celebrate her daughter's 30th birthday. This is what we made. I don't know which I love more, the cake or the awesome Jacinta. She was such a lovely breath of fresh air for this tired cake maker on Friday.
The cake is an 8" and 6" carved vanilla cake and the crown is via Amazon I wanted bling and couldn't achieve that with sugarpaste. p.s. funny story, I had this on a high shelf the night of my son's debs and my neighbour's daughter, Tess, saw it and was determined that crown should be hers. Her poor mammy nearly had heart failure.

Ece - Pink princess birthday cake.

Gulru ordered this 8" chocolate fudge cake for her daughter's 6th birthday.   There was meant to be a sugar tiara on top of the cake but, having made 8, I smashed the only one that worked this morning.   Not on purpose, I just tripped.
A quick chat with my six year old niece and a tiara was bought.   Dilan saved the day and Gulru and Ece were very happy, phew.

Ella - Princess Birthday Cake

As long as it was pink and there were princesses Ella (and Ella's mam Grainne ) were happy for me to come up with a design. Perfect for a princess.

Ella - Princess Birthday Cake

Ella's favourite princess is Rapunzel but she really loves all of them so we added a few around the side. The cake is an 8" chocolate biscuit cake and everything is edible.

Julie - Princesses Birthday Cake

I think this is the pinkest cake I have ever made. Julia was originally going to have a Cinderella cake but was torn over all the other princesses not being in attendance so ... we made it so that they were. The cake is an 8" chocolate fudge and everything is edible.
