Shay - Rizzo the Rat and Teddy Birthday Cake

 Shay's lovely wife still has two of her childhood teddies and I was asked to make them fondant replicas for her birthday cake.

I love this so much. I got the most gorgeous photo of two very, very loved teddies and it is so pure and sweet (and it reminds me of a rather mad cousin who lives in Birmingham).

The cake is a 6" chocolate biscuit and everything is edible and handmade.

Gloria - Sing Birthday Cake

I can't believe Gloria is six!! Time is whizzing by. Anyhow, Gloria celebrated her birthday recently and she loves the movie Sing. She really, really loves Ash. So a Sing based cake with Ash on top was made. The cake is an 8" chocolate biscuit. Everything (except the SING sign at the back) is edible.

Tadgh - Elephant Christening Cake

Niamh ordered this 8" chocolate biscuit cake for Tadhg's Christening celebrations.  

Everything is edible and handmade.  

Teddy bear Baby shower cake

Donal ordered this 8" zesty lemon cake for his wife's baby shower party last weekend. I do wonder what type of baby they will be having? 😍

Sarah and David - Star Wars Wedding

Huge congratulations to Sarah and David who tied the knot on the 29th December. This is one of my absolute favourite wedding cakes and a great way to end a fantastic cake year!! The cake is made up of a 10" chocolate biscuit, 8" vanilla and 6" raspberry whirl. Everything is edible and handmade. Gotta love those toppers too, provided by Sarah.

Luca - Blippi Birthday Cake

Luca is a huge Blippi fan, it would appear he is a YouTube phenomenon, so his cake had to be the man himself. The cake is an 8" vanilla and everything is edible and handmade.

Myka - Artist Birthday Cake

Myka is an aspiring artist and her mam asked me to make her a birthday cake reflecting that. This is an 8" zesty lemon cake and everything is edible and handmade.

Karl - Dominoes Pizza 21st Birthday Cake

Cora rang me in a panic late this week to see if we could fit her in. Her son, who hadn't wanted any celebrations, wanted to celebrate!! Kids, huh? As the owner of three kids I knew where she was coming from so was happy to help out. He loves pizza, Dominoes in particular, so I made him a chocolate biscuit pizza and airbrushed it to look like a deep pan crush with pepperoni, olives, peppers, onions and cheese! And I loved every minute of if. p.s. The flyer is edible too! Big shout out to Dominoes in Swords for letting me have the box x

Ken! - 50th Birthday Armchair Cake Topper

Bernie asked me to make this for a friend of hers (and then gave out to me for giving him too much hair! Cackle). I love making armchairs out of fondant, I really do. But I digress, Ken had a big birthday recently and was given his favourite things, a comfy chair, great movies, haribo cola bottles and chips from the best chipper in the world.... if you are from Cork! K.C;s. Oh, and the rug is red and white as they are his county colours. Happy birthday Ken!
