Ruth - Handbag Birthday Cake

 Ruth had a quieter 21st birthday than had been originally been planned (yay covid).  Her mam ordered this tall 6" chocolate biscuit cake to mark the occasion. 

She's very loved as two of her birthday gifts were a Marc Jacobs bag and a very gorgeous Tiffany bracelet. 

Everything is edible and handmade.

The brief was elegant and pretty and it was so lovely to work on.

Eoin - 40th Birthday Cake

My baby brother turned 40 today and this is what he was given lol. Za, his lovely wife, asked for a carrot cake and left the design up to me. I made a version of this cake before in pink and was dying to try it in a rich blue. Happy birthday bro xxxx

Ciara & Gavin - New York Skyline wedding cake

Ciara and Gavin tied the know in the beautiful surrounds of the Lyons Estate on Saturday. I met Ciara years ago and she is one of the most fabulous women. Gavin is beyond sound too and I loved making their cake. The brief was black, gold and NYC (as this is where Gavin proposed). This is what I came up with. The cake is made up of an 8" red velvet tier, 6" chocolate fudge tier and a 4" zesty lemon. Everything is edible and handmade and the topper came via Etsy.

Eabha - Elegant Christneing Cake

No pressure making this one, Eabha's cousin is a fantastic cake maker!. Aisling ordered this 8" chocolate biscuit cake for her daughter's Christening Day recently. The brief was simple with shades of pink. So, an elegant white, gold and pink ombre cake was made. Do love the simplicity of this.

Emily - Blue and Gold 40th Birthday Cake

Emily ordered this 8" chocolate biscuit cake for her husband's recent birthday celebrations. The brief was blue ombre and gold and a definite #40 lol. Everything is handmade and edible.

Derek & Daisy - Golden Wedding Anniversary Cake

This is an 8" chocolate biscuit cake and was made for Derek and Daisy's 50th wedding party. Everything is edible and handmade.

Katie & Nick - Navy and blush rose wedding cake

Katie and Nick tied the knot this weekend in the gorgeous Portmarnock Hotel (we got a sneak peek at them as they were married in the hotel itself) and this is the cake they asked us to make. 

Navy and white with blush pink roses to match the bridesmaids and the bouquets. The cake is made up of a 10" vanilla and raspberry, double-height 8" vanilla and raspberry and 6" traditional fruit cake. 

The roses are made from gum-paste and, if you wish, edible lol.

Gold and Pink Birthday Cake

James ordered this 8" chocolate biscuit and 6" baileys cake for his friend's 30th birthday celebrations. He sent me a couple of images and there were a lot of pink sweets involved.
