Things to consider prior to ordering

We go to great lengths to give you, our client, exactly what you are looking for. Therefore we ask before you contact us to discuss your cake requirements that you consider the following points:

• How many guests you want your cake to serve.

• Your budget.

• Consider how best to describe the cake you are looking for. All pictures, diagrams etc. will be happily received.

• Try to be as sure as possible at the point of order. Making alterations at a later date can be both costly and cause misunderstandings.

• To include edible figures and animals in your design is extremely time consuming so we need this information as early as possible.  Price on these figures varies depending on the complexity of the design.

Finally, when transporting your cake it should be placed flat on the floor of your car or boot. Don’t put it on a car seat, we’ve done that and trust us it’s not a good idea. All cakes should be stored in a cool dark place on a flat surface. All our, sponge, cakes will stay fresh for a minimum of 5 days from delivery. Our rich fruit cakes have a minimum shelf life of 6 months. Chocolate biscuit cake will last as long as you can keep away from it.
