Cathay Pacific Inaugural Flight Cake

Cathay Pacific launched it's direct flight to Dublin from Hong Kong today and we were delighted to be asked to make a cake for the celebrations in Dublin Airport today. We were asked to make the Tian Tan Buddha, a Junk, the new Cathay Pacific plane with curved winglets (I had to google that), the Bell Tower in Trinity College and ... I asked that we include the chimneys in Poolbeg. To me, they are iconic and a true landmark. The cake is made up of a 12" square chocolate biscuit cake and a 12" square vanilla. Everything is, edible and handmade.
