Sophia & Doggo Birthday Cake

 Niamh ordered this tall 6" chocolate cake with a vanilla bean filling for Sophia's 7th birthday. 

Sophia knew exactly what she wanted.   Lilac, herself and her favourite toy, Doggo, sitting on top.  Pictures of her and Doggo and all their adventures around the cake!!  

She is a dote. 

Everything is handmade and edible. 

Bram - Harry Potter and the Order of The Phoenix birthday cake

 Hand on heart, I was a bit disappointed that Bram has moved on from Star Wars this year. Last year I got to make him a BB8.

However, I do love making cakes for my best mate's son. This is an 8" mix chocolate biscuit cake and everything, excluding the snitch is edible.

Sinéad (and Brendan) Harry Potter Birthday (Engagement) Cake

I have been like a kid for the past few days working on this cake. Brendan contacted me a few months ago to ask if I would come up with a cake that could be used as a birthday cake and a way to ask his girlfriend to marry him! I came up with the book and Brendan let me run with it. On the outside it's all birthday but when you open the cover ... well. 

She said yes!! 

Everything is edible and handmade and whooohoooo. This makes me so happy.

Lara - Herminone Birthday Cake

Lara loves the universe of Harry Potter but Hermione is her favourite.  Well, Hermione and Hedwig.  So, for her birthday cake, I decided to make the time turner and Hermione's wand along with Hedwig delivering the birthday message.

Martha - Ravenclaw Birthday Cake

Martha is a huge Harry Potter fan and is Ravenclaw through and through. This is a 10 x 8 zesty lemon cake and was made to celebrate her 18th birthday this weekend. One of my favourite Potter cakes.

I do love the Harry Potter books but Dobby freaks me out. I think it's to do with how out of proportions his hands and feet are, shudder. Finn - The Awesome!! Confirmation Cake

Lavinia ordered this red velvet cake to celebrate Finn's Confirmation Day. He loves reading and loved having two of his favorite books turned into cake. Everything is edible and handmade. Even the chewing gum.
