I loved making this cake. It really gave me such a buzz, I'm nearly the same age as Philip, we like the same music!!
He owns The Record Corner in the UK and was over here for his birthday,
Lyndsay asked that I make a record player cake and I asked if we could do something a little different.
She trusted me and let me run with it.
The cake is the upright block of records and the loose vinyl is made of sugarpaste.
Everything is edible.
