Brid ordered this 8" zesty lemon and 6" carrot cake for her mam's 90th birthday celebrations. I loved every minute of making it.
Siobhán sounds like a legend of a woman. She had ten children and still managed to bake every week. She has her grandkids hooked on Scrabble (oh, there is no 'fada' in Scrabble) and loves the Irish Times Crossword.
Everything is edible and handmade.
