Elsie - Sewing Basket Birthday Cake

Stephanie ordered this 8" zesty lemon cake for her mam's recent birthday celebrations. Elsie is an avid crafter and I was made promise there would be no reference to the word 'birthday' or her age. Mission achieved. I love making this style of cake. Cheers Stephanie.

Moira - Sewing Basket Birthday Cake

This was one of my favourite cakes to make. I love making reel (see what I did there) things. The basket is made up of an 8" vanilla and raspberry and an 8" zesty lemon. It includes everything one would find in a sewing box. Moira loves to sew. Everything is edible and handmade and I was genuinely sorry to see it go.

Doreen - Sewing themed birthday cake

Doreen celebrated her 60th birthday this weekend and Martina ordered this 8" zesty lemon cake to help her celebrate. Doreen loves sewing, knitting, the odd glass of wine and Woman's Way magazine. Everything is handmade and edible.

Ann - Sewing Birthday Cake

Ann loves to sew and, with this in mind, myself and Orla (her daughter who ordered the cake) came up with. The cake is a 6" high 7" zesty lemon cake. Everything is edible except for the upright pin in the pincushion and the pin holding the name tag. . Fun, huh?

Flynn - Rainbows and Bear Naming Day Cake

Anne Marie ordered this for her son's Naming Day ceremony.  The brief was rainbows, lots of them and building blocks and a star for Max.

The cake is an 8" chocolate biscuit and everything is edible and handmade.   

Holly - Christening Cake

This is an 8" chocolate biscuit cake that was made to celebrate Holly's Christening Day.  Everything is edible and handmade. Loving the different buttons (huge button fan here). 

Aoife - Bunny and Buttons Christening Cake

This is an 8" raspberry swirl cake and was made for Mary's latest daughter! I say that as she had told me that the last baby was the last baby lol. Loved making this, so pretty in pink. The bunny on top matches one of Aoife's toys. All handmade and edible.

Imogen

10" Zesty Lemon decorated with handmade flowers and buttons.  A number of the buttons have been 'sewn' onto the cake and the ribbon also appears to have been sewn.
