Robin - Christening Day Cake

I had a lot of fun working on this cake.  Robin's mum is a a joy to work with, always is.  This is a 10" chocolate biscuit cake made to celebrate Robin's Christening Day.  Everything you see on the cake represents a few of the important people in his life (if the cake had been bigger we would have squeezed even more on there).  Learning to make a gramophone was one of the most stressful things I have done this year (slight exaggeration but you get what I'm saying, right?).  Much high fiving of myself as I wandered around the kitchen . . . never a child around to high five you when you need one.  Or a Geraldine for that matter.
